Welcome to the Madrigal 2 - Come Get Some! Character Generator! Please read this information before logging in for the first time.

The Character Generator is a secure Web site that allows you to create and maintain your Madrigal 2 - Come Get Some! character through a simple wizard. If you are familiar with "shopping cart" sites like Amazon.com, you should find the Character Generator very easy to use.

You will need to create a user name and password before logging into the system. Please note that you are only allowed to have one user name and password in the system.

Below are some common questions about the Character Generator:

What if I have problems?
Logging out of the Character Generator will resolve most problems. To log out, click the "Log out" link on any page. Please try logging out and logging back in before contacting the Webmaster.

If you are still having problems, please email the Webmaster. Please do not email the Madrigal 2 - Come Get Some! mailing list.

Note: In your email, please include the URL of the page where you encountered the problem, the browser and operating system you are using, and the exact text of any error messages you receive. This information will help us resolve your problem as quickly as possible.

You can view a list of current known issues and fixes for the generator here.

Are the any special system requirements to use the generator?
You must have cookies enabled in your browser. The site has been tested with several version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari on multiple operating systems. Other browsers (e.g. Chrome, Opera) should work but have not been explicitly tested. A fast Internet connection (e.g. T1, cable modem, DSL) is helpful but not necessary. If you have any problems, please email the Webmaster.

What if I can't / don't want to use the Character Generator?
If you cannot access the Character Generator or prefer not to use it, you will be able to create a character at check-in at your first event. Especially if you are a new player, however, we highly recommend that you use the Character Generator to create your character, since the generator will guarantee that your character conforms to the nTeraction game rules.

How many characters can I have?
The Character Generator only allows you to maintain one character at a time. You can use the wizard to experiment as much as you want, but please do not actually save your character until you are sure your headers, skills, and spells are correct. You save your character by clicking the "finish" button on page 5 of the character wizard.

Once your character is saved, you can update roleplaying information and add as many headers, skills, and spells as your CP allows, but you will need to contact the Madrigal 2 - Come Get Some! staff to delete a character or remove any skills you selected by mistake.

Does the Character Generator save characters I am working on?
The Generator saves characters you are working on until you log out or remain inactive in the site for 20 minutes. Logging out deletes any in-progress characters. Be sure to save your final character by clicking the "Finish" button on page 5 of the wizard before logging out (but note that you can not remove headers, skills, or spells from the character once you have saved the final character).

Note: You might find that information you entered on the last page of the wizard is missing when you resume working on that character. This is normal. Information on the previous pages should still be present.

Can I change my character once I have saved it?
Absolutely! You can update your roleplaying information (like your character's family and goals) at any time, and we encourage you to do so whenever it changes. You can also purchase additional headers, skills, and spells at any time, provided you have enough free CP.

However, you can not remove headers, skills, and spells after you have purchased them. You purchase skills by clicking the "Finish" button on page 5 of the character wizard.

Note: We print character cards 1-2 days before each event begins. Any changes you make after this deadline may not be reflected at check-in.
